Z Lot

Let me tell you-

I had a straight DISLIKE for Detroit, only because of the pre-existing notion that it was crime central, recession haven, & only known for Emienm. In the soon to be 7 years (Gosh time FLIES!) I’ve lived here, Detroit is a cultural beacon in it’s own right. I didn’t know that art & fashion ran rampant here. I didn’t know that Slum Village, J. Dilla, & Dwele were Detroit born & raised. I didn’t know that once Detroit was literally FASHION CAPITAL. Thankfully, I was proven wrong. I chose the Z Lot because of what Detroit stands for: Strength, Spark, & Intrigue. I had fun shooting on the roof top with my fave photographer/frat brother, Jerome (seriously check him OUT).
